Is it firing? Is there spark at the plugs? That system may only be pressurized when the pump is running... I had Keith check his when he turned his key to the on position, he had fuel spraying out from bleeder valve I don't know if it's getting spark though I haven't messed with in past day, I took a rest from messing with it

Fire or no fire it should pressurize the fuel rail. When you turn the key on it should get pressure.

Ok, so fuel pressure has been checked with the key on? You guys are talking in circles, I know it should have pressure when the key is on, has that been verified with Teach's jeep? Someone else saying their jeep does it will do Teach no good if it hasn't been checked on his.

I went by there last night to bring some tools and help him button up this little project. Its turning over fine. It has no fuel pressure at the rail. You can hear the pump run and there's fuel in it but it doesn't seem to be pumping fuel. We tried for half hour or so turning it off and on and checking the pressure at the rail bleeder valve and never got a drop of fuel out of it.

As said earlier, just disconnect the fuel line at the filter and see if it shoots gas out with the key on/cranking. If so, then I would look at regulator, if not, then pump probably crapped out (as long as you are getting voltage to the pump.

I don't have a serviceable filter on my Cherokee I picked up a fuel pressure gauge at work so tonight I'll hook it up to see if it's anything just to say that I checked it I checked the line earlier and followed it back but never saw any bend or leak of fuel

The impeller on the pump might be bad if you can hear the pump run.

If fuel ain't spraying out the valve on the fuel rail I doubt the pressure gauge will help.

Did you read mine about you guys talking in circles. what circles ? I have seen any circles ! And the fuel rail should hold pressure at all times UNLESS SOMETHING IS WRONG. A faulty pressure regulator etc.. It may not be full pressure but it should have pressure.

Well regardless I picked up a fuel pump anyways, I was having issues with it cranking before I did the head swap and now it's not doing anything lol

But if you used the airteks brand pump. Chances are you'll put 2 on before you get one that works. And my one cent, are you getting spark at the coil rail? They've been know to go out. I'd pick one up and try it.
