I went by there last night to bring some tools and help him button up this little project. Its turning over fine. It has no fuel pressure at the rail. You can hear the pump run and there's fuel in it but it doesn't seem to be pumping fuel. We tried for half hour or so turning it off and on and checking the pressure at the rail bleeder valve and never got a drop of fuel out of it.

Pressure and return lines connected at the right locations and not reversed?

I can come over tomorrow evening and take a look. Idk if I can see anything but another set of eyes could help
Find a place you can take the fuel line apart (like before the filter) and cycle the key. See if you get any fuel, if so.... Then try after the filter, etc...

Start at the fuel pump.. take the connection off and start the pump... see if it's even pumping anything out of the pump itself.. then work your way up to the fuel rail..

Then try after the filter, etc... If I didn't have to work at the zone then that'd be great But I checked the line and doesn't appear to be bent but I'll look Tomo before I go to autozone. Before I did the swap I was having issues cranking it, it would never crank on first try and usually took two to three times to crank up

Sounds like pressure regulator for the "before issue" or a leak down
But you should have pressure at the fuel rail regardless

Is it firing? Is there spark at the plugs? That system may only be pressurized when the pump is running...
