Well regardless I picked up a fuel pump anyways, I was having issues with it cranking before I did the head swap and now it's not doing anything lol Not trying to be funny. But if you used the airteks brand pump. Chances are you'll put 2 on before you get one that works. And my one cent, are you getting spark at the coil rail? They've been know to go out. I'd pick one up and try it. it needs fuel to the fuel rail !! Spark to the plugs is useless without FUEL!!! Geseous people !!

Not to "fuel" the fire here, but on some GM vehicles if the ignition module is bad then the fuel pump won't work. I don't know if Jeep is that way or not. I know you said you can hear the pump run, just offering another maybe.

You're killing me lol If I knew how to check it then I'd let you know first I don't believe my jeep has a ignition module I've searched various part sites and nothing came up for my year

It doesn't make since that it was running and all you did was change out the head. Now something else goes out at the same time.
You have the worst luck.
Again, let me know if you need the jeep next week. I'll need it back for Memorial Day Weekend but you are more than welcome to it Monday - Thursday next week.

Fuel+Spark+Air=Boom in the cylinder. Verify fuel and spark.
Am I correct in my reading in circles that Teach has fuel to the rail? If so put the pressure gauge on there and verify that the pressure is within spec. No fuel at rail, work backwards to the tank and see where it stops getting fuel.
Can the coil pack be taken off but left connected? Put the plugs in each boot and then turn the motor over and see if they are sparking.
GG

GG Yeah no fuel to rail I wonder if my crappy battery would be a issue with this lol I was going to unhook a line today but it's raining

Easiest thing I can think of is to start at one end or the other and start cracking lin s at every junction to see where all you're getting fuel.
If the battery has enough to spin the starter then it shouldn't be a problem to run the pump.
Idea? Do keeps have some type of roll over/impact sensor? Maybe you accidentally tripped it when doing the head swap? Just a thought

Just a thought This kills power to the fuel pump.. since they are hearing the pump kick on then I wouldn't think that would be it.. I've heard 3 people say to disconnect the pump and turn it on to see if it's even pumping.. I would suggest doing this first!

I disconnected the lines at the rear by the pump and at the front I did each location three times and caught it in a bucket. I did not have a lot of fuel come out at either spot.

Then its your pump.. It should be spraying out the hose even with 3 psi like crazy
