Had to wait a tad longer for the block. I needed them to align hone it for some ARP main studs. Going to pick it up Monday!!

Some HP engines have four bolts in the cap and one on each side through the side of the block for extra strength at higher RPM making it a six bolt main. Can't see the side very well is reason I asked. Carry on!

Tim you are correct, it is a 6 bolt main...4 top 2 side.
I did ARP main studs though so its not bolts anymore other than on the sides!

Dropped in the lifters and threaded in the head studs last night...Tomorrow all I have left is installing heads, rockers, oil pump, oil pan, front/rear covers, crank pulley, front accessories and dropping it in the car!!  |
