Yes, they are Rubi equipped. 35K is the asking price, BUT, I was given a little bit better price for "friends". Oh, and it's a 5 speed.

yeah.. 3 were suppose to be gone by now and replaced with a 4 door jk.. taking a little longer than expected.. Dude a jk doesnt really fit your driving style lol. Only a buggy fits his driving style... |

Back on topic... replaced the water pump.. (bearing was bad) No leaks.. but it still runs around 215.. so may need either a motor flush or a new radiator.. the one in it doesn't look all that great.. took it around the neighborhood and floored it to see what it would do... got to a stop sign and as soon as I stopped it quit on me.. then started pouring gas into the carb by itself.. Apparently the float on the carb hasn't been down that far and got stuck.. got hammer, beat on the case and we're off again!  Drove it up to the Bartlett car show.. ran fine there and back.. but there isn't a mosquito alive between here and there now..  I think I found out why the tranny doesn't shift right... there's a rod called a TV rod that is suppose to go to the carb down to the tranny and tells the tranny where the throttle position is.. It's not there. I'll have to order one of those now.. The high beams started working now.. I guess the button on the floor was stuck or something... but now when I turn the high beams on the brake light on the dash comes on.. How fuckin awesome is that!!! Overall.. I'm happy with the ole beater!! |

Took it to work to show a coworker... took him to lunch in it and a guy in a black Chevy pulled up and said "Nice car, I tried to buy it off Craigslist a while back... Whatcha want for it??" He offered twice what I paid.... NFS!!  Float stuck in the up position this time today... Hammer Time! Guess I need to take it apart and clean the lever a little.. |

Does the high beam light in the dash coe on when you turn on the high beams ? If not someone might have the wrong bulb plugged in the wrong place in the back of the instrument panel.

No it doesn't.. just the brake light.. I think it's just switched.. And I thought about the sea foam... but hate to mess with it since it still runs.. |
