you have no idea how big of a headache, heartache this has been not to mention the financial let down from someone I called friend. I got the same treatment cause "someone" didn't like the way I started the club.. So instead of working it out they threw away 6 years of what I thought was friendship like it was nothing to them.. This is why I'm very careful with who I let in nowadays.. You just never know. Offer still stands if I can work it out to go pick him up when he's done..

That's been talked about, a shake down run of sorts if it gets done completely or just a pick up and Campout, BBQ if he's not either way we need to get back to visit our Jeep family it's been too long.

So what is needed at this time? I'm a little lost. I have a friend who owns a machine shop. He isn't cheap but does good work. Am I understanding that it needs some axle tunes bored out?

I never heard anything back from him.
We still need to get the measurements so we can talk to shops to see what's possible

So the spindle needs to be bored out to a larger diameter? What axle? Does the spindle have plenty meat in it to bore? Do you know the od and current ID, and what the new ID needs to be? Is it just a straight line bore, or does there need to be any seal/bearing seats or anything machined into it? Im not real clear on what is needed. What is the total length on the spindle? If it is just a straight through bore, and there is enough meat, and our tooling will work, etc, I may can take care of it. It would be when I get back from the trip on the 4th.

Pretty sure just the outer spindle on the D60 needs bored out to fit the new RCV shafts I'll make some phone calls to RCV to see if they know exact specs but anyone with calipers should be able to take the measurements from both the axle tube and the axle to get the measurements necessary. Jeff it should be a straight line bore that's needed.

Yeah that sounds right. Straight bore just to make the shaft clear
