I talked to my neighbor last weekend who does a lot of lathe work to see if he had any ideas. He was pretty stumped, but said he had a few friends he could ask.... haven't heard anything back from him yet though. We need to measure both pieces so we can get a better idea of how much material needs to be removed.
There's always the option of cutting them off and welding on ones that are the correct size...

Mike, what are you trying to open up the knuckle or the spindle that bolts to it or both?

I know I've not been on in awhile but wanted to take the time to say thanks to all those who are willing to step up and help out. Spyder Offroad kinda gave me the cold shoulder after I finished paying for want I needed to the tune of almost 5000$ Bama took the axles and put the gears in out of the kindness of his heart. But they still need the brakes mounted and installed, the rear axle honed out to fit the new, bigger RCV axle shafts, the axles mounted under the Jeep, the high steer put on, tires and rims put together, really just get it rolling I'll take care of the interior and engine stuff just want to be able to get it on a trailer to bring it home. It's been too long without my Jeep and Spyder Offroad didn't live up to what they told me they were going to do so I'm left with an unfinished Jeep. I was in the process of looking for a way to come get Slinky when Mike Penny contacted and we talked about the club doing what they could to get it together. I told him that would be awesome and I'd send whatever money was needed to get whatever was needed to get it done. So in advanced I like to give a huge Thank you to all who will be involved you have no idea how big of a headache, heartache this has been not to mention the financial let down from someone I called friend. Thanks again and God bless this Club and its members. David Hockett. aka Golf.

Man I don't know you, but I saw Slinky out at Mike's and heard some stories about it. Hopefully I get to partake in the build and see it come back to its former glory! Welcome back from the new guy
