We should probably just swap parts piles. Let's face it, we already have taken what we need from our own pile. I still need a lot of stuff in my pile because a whole lot of it is '49 parts. but i'm sure there's plenty of other stuff I could part with i guess. What's up with the other truck next to it ? |

Long story. I'll try to keep it brief. Was ours when I was a kid. My dad sold it to my cousin who ended up dying a few years later in a car wreck (different vehicle.) It sat behind my uncles house until the city got on him, so my parents let him take it to their house where it has been for about 10 years now.
My uncle gave up and told me I could have it. Before I did anything with it, my cousin's daughter asked my uncle to fix it up for her. I wasn't going to argue with that. That scenario repeated itself a couple more times, so I've written it off. I hate it too. It's got the full gage panel, factory air, and the rust isn't to bad last I saw it.

As far as the cross member, it is brand new. If you might be interested, fine a way to meet up with me and you can take it with you and play with it. No rush, no obligation. If you don't use it just bring it back. Been in the garage five or six years.

I got mine running a couple weekends ago and now just need to top off the transmission fluid and run some fresh gas through it and should be good to go. Oh and add some seatbelts so I don't get a ticket. Looking good mike! |

Man oh man... Mike and I are like body work heroes!! No not really.. but we did pretty damn good job considering we've never done anything to this extent before.. Entire front corner that supports the whole corner of the cab had to be rebuilt... We now have structural integrity again and looks pretty damn good if I do say so myself.. I'll let Mike elaborate with pics..  |
