It was kinda rough but all there and all original and pretty straight for a 60+ year old truck the upholstery was shot but all there. The engine was complete and was suposedly rebuilt not long before it was parked. The previous owner parked it with plans to change it to a V-8 but got transferred to Nashville before he started on it.

Looks better already! Gonna do a complete restore and turn it into a show truck or DD? Motor swap? I love projects like this. They can make tv shows about this kinda project!

Well it doesn't look like that anymore, I'm uploading pictures to PhotoBucket that are too big right now of the beginning of the restoration. The plan right now is to go back as original as possible and make it a weekend driver to drive to the lake, out to eat or where ever. My plan is to keep the original drive train since it was supposedly rebuilt but if there turns out to be a problem with it then it will get a 388 Stroker, automatic transmission and new rear axle My first priority right now is to restore the frame and body, complete new brake system, wiring harness, glass, and upholstery, fuel tank and fuel lines etc ...etc... a drive train swap can be done later if need be.
