Finally got around to getting something else done to my truck today

the floor boards are rusted out and need replaced. I got the old floor cut out on the driver side,and the new one fitted and ready to weld in place, also got some of the passenger side cut out but ran out of day light.

Good news is I sold my boat so more parts on the way. the new panels fit nicely I'll need a few more pieces before i can start welding it all in place

The homemade cab lift attachment came in handy for this because the front of the cab was only held by the two small spots on each side ( passenger side was about an inch of rusted metal ) shown in the previous two pictures. Without it the cab was trying to spread wider at the front corners.

My father in law finished with his 55 f100 last year after 14 years of work. He has not lost a car show yet with it.

It seems that I would have enough parts to get something done but they back ordered the two pieces that ties all this together :doh:

Went ahead and ordered the master cylinder and complete wiring harness because it was on sale last month

The wiring harness included almost everything needed to rewire it from headlight to tail lights. It has the fuse box, headlight switch,ignition switch, dimmer switch, all the light sockets, etc...
