If you keep bending that Currie tie rod...I know of a bolt on upgrade that will fix that issue.

Savvy' upgraded tie rod and the flip mod. Yeah, I been reading into that along with Blaine's hydro assist. I'm just contemplating how it's all going to fit in with pushing the front forward a few more inches.

Well with threats of freezing rain, I guess it's time to put the top on. Haven't had a full top on this Jeep yet, but I've had a BestTop sitting in the box for the past few months waiting to go on. Spreader bar and the "T" are going to have to go. The spreader is too close to the windshield latches. Yeah, I could cut the latches and made that work. But that's what I call a Jerry rigged solution... I mainly used a cut off wheel, but for those tight spots that the 4 1/2" angle grinder can't get to... And she's gone... Don't worry, I'll replace it soon enough. A tubing bender has moved up on the priority list. Hell yeah, that's gas guzzling machine there... And this is what the ride home felt like

Starter was getting weak on the Jeep. After the Optima tested bad, I swapped the battery out for a Duralast Gold. She still sounded weak when I cranked it. Thought I had something draining the battery, but new battery still showed to be a 100% charged. Swapped out the starter and she now turns over like a beast. I guess I'll use that old Optima battery on the trailer winch... This is how a lazy man changes a starter.

whadda bout that GT sitting in the corner back there?? It's my shop buddy's drag car. Been in the same spot for about 10-15 years... He's got a nice engine to put in it, he just needs to do more than 12 oz curls to get it going.

You aren't lying... I miss my old couple! I messed around and burned myself out on it. Fun car, stock 302 block, built AODE tranny, full cage, full suspension with coil overs, stand alone fuel injection, and a turbo kit. I drove the damn thing everywhere... All it needed was an aftermarket short block. It'd haze the tire at a 60 mph roll. I should have put it in storage instead of selling it...
