She really never told me her name, but Sweetness calls her "Cash Money" or "Cash". Reason being, as long as I own her, I'll never have any. So far, that's pretty accurate.
Big Bird was a great Jeep, I loved her... But the "Ta do list" was large, expensive, and time consuming. I like working on cars, but I didn't want to experience the burn out I had with drag racing. So I cheated and found this nicely modified little Green Jeep on EBAY. A good friend actually found it, bidded on it, and didn't meet the reserve. It went up again and I asked him if it was ok if I bidded on it. I took the chance, bidded, and won. So 3 of my good friends drove to Georgia to pick up "Cash Money". Anytime one of us buys a “toy” we all go and make a trip of it. It usually, involves Hooter’s and a lot of beer and this trip was no exception. Good times…
The EBAY add…
*One-owner, original Southern California vehicle*
*Less than 5,000 miles on rebuilt transmission*
*Built-tough enough for the rocks, looks good enough to be a mall-crawler*
*Includes tow-bar so you can flat-tow it home if you'd like*
After mostly sitting in my garage for the last 5-years, the time has come to part with my Jeep. I've read plenty of ads which profess that their Jeep had never been off-road; that is not the case here. This Jeep was built for adventure and it certainly delivered. For many years, it was a weekly commuter as well as weekend toy, taking me on multiple trips to the Rubicon, Dusy-Ershim, the 'Hammers', and all over the SoCal deserts. It is a strong running, reliable Jeep that I will dearly miss. I've tried to list all the mods below, but I'm sure I've missed some. Please contact with any questions you may have.
Overall, the Jeep still shines up nice and looks and drives great. The interior is in excellent condition (I had waterproof seat covers). As you would imagine from the trails that this Jeep has traveled, it has picked up its share of scrapes and dings. There are two small chips in the windshield, which have not spread for 10+ years. Original window sticker and manuals included.
The engine pulls strong, passes emissions, and does not burn oil. My Cherokee with the 4.0L engine ran strong in excess of 250K miles and I have no doubt that this Jeep will bring fun and adventure for many years to come.
Thanks for looking!

We pulled up, I saw a 67 fast back mustang, a Prius, and a Minivan on a zero lot line property, very nice place. After speaking with the previous owner in person, I felt extremely good about the purchase. He was so genuine and straight forward, I could tell he was a great guy. He bought the Jeep new and since the purchase has had four kids and doesn't have the time to wheel. I'm sure it's not the same wheel'n in Georgia as is it is in California. I'm going to say his life has changed a lot. He's still great about returning my text/emails about specific questions about Jeep.

First outing… Boudreaux approved!
First Mod was to swap out the Nike’s from Big Bird to Cash. Nothing like a fresh set of treads...
Everyone loves a photobomb
Hold on Sweetness…
