I'm going to be doing a lot of soda blasting on the kid's VW soon so I am curious about the movement of the water separator. Did you move the water separator in your shop lines? Or the one that comes attached to the blaster? I had one on my compressor... But it was attached to the manifold directly.. I think with the compressor being a direct drive 100% duty cycle, that it staying on all the time let the heat run through the separator being so close to the manifold that it didn't stop the condensation... So i took it off and moved it to the soda blaster right in front of the one that came with it.. They both had water in the canisters but none got into the blaster itself like it did before after a bout 30 mins of use... Mike used it a good 45 mins and no clogging.. Cool, thanks for the info. Always glad to learn from others.

Are you gonna have hardened valve seats installed for unleaded fuel?

I'm amazed about how good the soda blasting does. That's awesome. I sure could've used that with the Thug's engine build.

I would love to has it blueprinted.. balanced and the whole works.. but for a wknd put around town this will have to do... it lasted 50 yrs stock so should last a little longer with a simple rebuild.. ;-) I thought you were gonna build the shit out of it and then trade it for a Lincoln.
