Mel helped me get the hood off this morning..
Then Bob came over with these.. He says he doesn't eat donuts but here's the proof!!
Front bumper removal...
Radiator out..
Front clips new home for a while..
How hot is this beauty!?? Baling wire and all!!
Finally it's out... and it's a mess!!!
It looks so sad right now... But soon will be happy again...
So now we clean clean clean... then rebuild with new parts..

If you come across any tools you don't have let me know. I'll have to find them but I should have a lot of the rebuild tools.

Glad to see you got it out, I was trying to make it over to help but I piped a 2.5 bath house today and just got home I have a big bag full of engine building tools all packed up ready to go when your ready Pulling the front cap made it easier I'm sure and looks like it came off pretty easy. I figured because of it being so old that it would be easy to pull all in one piece. That's how I have always done engine swaps on my Nova

Im anxious to clean it up.. throw some paint onbit and get it back together!

What are you doing for exhaust? I bought a flowmaster super 44 for the truck I'm getting installed when I get home but I'm worried it's gonna be too loud in the cab for jennifer. Might cut you a sweet deal on it if it doesn't work out! LOL

Flows sound good but are too loud for me. Dynamax have a good rumble at idle but aren't so bad at a cruise. But hell, you ride a bike, you'll think they're quiet...
