I dropped it off today at the fab shop. He is gonna do all the welding. Can't wait to get it done.

It's going to be way simpler going in the YJ. Leaf perches vs. the buckets should be easier to setup the angles to keep the vibrations down. When I started mine I knew the wheelbase would need to be lengthend so I read about using XJ springs for a 6" stretch front and rear. Better angles and not as hard on the drive shafts. I'm ready to get back on mine and finish it. Good luck with your build and get some pics up.

I wish I could be there to document every step of the build. So far all I have pictures of are the old axles, the new axles, the jeep,, and the tires. I guess I do need to update this build thread. I am looking forward to seeing yours as well.

I just found a full size chevy with a 350efi for $600.00 i think i might buy it and put that motor in my TJ. funds are about to get real low, trying to work on two jeeps at the same time.

That would be a fun project !! I always wanted a V-8 Jeep but with mine only having 55k on the clock I just can't see changing it out
