search RockAuto part number: 61311378073 is the BMW switch for 195*/210* temps
part number: 61318361787 is for 180*/195* ; which seems low to me since the thermostat for my B2 is a 195*

installed a 180 degree thermostat.. which I've never been a fan of doing. Usually I want OEM temp.. but, it's just a test to see what happens. I'm not saying I'm going to love it... just curious to see what happens. A buddy over on TRS said he'll pay me back for the $13 thermostat if I don't like it... so... We'll see. Also installed my rear rack. It's this: www.harborfreight.com/500-lb-atv-cargo-carrier-69858.htmlwithout the center piece, just put shorter bolts. I'm going to mount it to the floor and it will make it easy to secure my stuff when offroading which will be the toolbox and ice chest (not the grey thing...)

Ever need more light in the cargo area of your rig? Well, I got tired of not seeing my tool box and crap so... here's what I'm doing.. see these lights? www.ebay.com/itm/251279303943?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649yeah, it's as wide as my cargo area roof. LED's.. 12volt, BRIGHT.. I got it wired up and will be mounting it to the roof later. I got lucky and the B2 has a cargo light that is wired to the door switch AND has a switch on it. So I tapped into those wires and can use it with the lightgate open or closed (Idk why I'd need it with the gate closed lol). The stock light is a little 168 bulb so VERY little light. These lights are awesome. I recommend them for anyone who needs more light and has an area that wide to mount something. I even recommend them for under cabinet lighting in the garage/shop.. you can get a 12 volt wall adapter.. I think it'd be sweet.

telling you... I got pissed off the other night when I couldn't see in my toolbox...and I fixed it. lol.
Now to find a use for the second one I ordered. Almost thinking I should glue magnets on it and have a 8' lead to hook on the battery with alligator clips.

You should mount it under your hood... that way you could find all those bolts you were missing..

Thought about that to... but Idk if it'd melt the lens or not. Surely not right?

nah it's thin plastic on the lens. I would like to have an underhood light that was worth a crap tho lol. I'll find a use for it... somewhere.
