As most of (or all of) you know I have a 1989 YJ 6cyl/5spd that I absolutely LOVE. This thing has been built up pretty good for a square eyes and goes everywhere I need/want it to go.
I've done a SOA with 2.5" RC lift leafs, tie-rod flip kit, SYE with a front XJ shortend driveshaft (done at home), 8.8 swap (3.73 limited slip), Blue Torch Fab DIY rear diff cover, front axle swap from a '96 Grand Cherokee (3.73), RC front diff protector, Front Spartan locker, rear Detroit locker, recessed my stock tail lights, corner guards, sliders, rear tube fenders, ax15, fabbed up my hood mounts for the Hi-Lift, Tuff Stuff 9500lb winch that hasn't let me down yet, 33" Firestone Destination M/T's, 37" Goodyear MT/R's on 15" Allied Beadlocks, and lots of other little stuff that I know I'm forgetting.
Right now the motor and tranny are out of it. I'm installing a new clutch kit from NAPA, the head has been completely rebuilt and the bottom end will get new rings/bearings. As soon as my computer will let me I'll add some pics of what's been done with it......

Nice jeep. Looks like a prime candidate for a cj or tj grill and headlight swap.

Here's a couple of pics of my hood mounts for the hi lift.... I found a piece of 1/4" steel plate in my garage, made a cardboard template and fab'd up a couple of hood hinge mounts for the Hi-Lift. My two other attempts failed miserably so I decided to put it up out of the way. I saw the ones BJ did on Gwen's Rubi and just copied his procedure. A couple plates, a couple of 1/2" bolts/nuts/and wing nuts, and a welder was all it took. Here's the mounting plates. Here's the finished product. Worked out pretty darn good and will never go anywhere.

I mounted my inverter in my console. The wires go through the floor and up to the battery where they're hard-wired in. There's an in-line fuse for safety purposes. This also allows me to have it mounted permanently, out of the way, and to where I can use my console with out a problem.

You could buy the WRF DIY tube fenders as well they're like 150$ and not hard at all to put together that's what mine are.
