Still think a raffle at Landers is best Landers would be a good idea IF we can get space up front rather than the back of the lot. If people don't see us, how will they know we are there? Plus anyone know anybody at a radio station? If we got one involved that would really get the word out if we did anything at Landers prior to the run.

If we go to Jeff with a planned out idea I'm sure he will be happy to help.

I'm still not liking the idea. just too much room for error for me. But that's just my 2 cents. Getting tickets to folks, making sure we get the proper info on each one, people picking up their prizes, thoughts of foul play if one person wins a couple big ticket items, etc. Just think it would be better to do as a group, in person. Plus it gives us a reason to get together and that's always a good time!OH... I thought we were trying to gather as much donations as possible from outside sources... If it's more about getting together as a group then sure..

Just trying to keep you from getting butt hurt when I win that chrome grill you so desperately want and you call bs because you weren't here to see it! Seriously though I just don't like the idea. if others do then I'll go along with it, but I'm not going to vote that way.

Just saying that with us being a smaller club were not gonna make as much without reaching out to people that have no idea who we are.. But if they see that its a good charity they are more likely to donate.. That's all.. Same reason I put in for the gun raffle.. It was easy to enter.. 2 cents my man.

If you guys don't want to open the raffle for non-attendees, how about a separate raffle that you don't have to be present. Maybe just a single big ticket item. Cuts down the logistics of it, and gives us a chance to collect outside cash for the family. Maybe do that raffle at Landers, that way people stopping by, that don't want to hang out all day may spend a few $ on the raffle, when otherwise we would miss out on those collections. I understand how getting 15 separate pairs of gloves or something small may be a pain, but on a single big ticket item, there's only one thing to keep up with, and people would be ready to come pick up something big (considering they are local). If we could get something like a winch or big gift certificate donated, we could sell tickets to outsiders leading up to the event as well. Just suggestions.

I like the sticker idea...cheap to make and people who may not spend the money on a shirt may go ahead and buy a few dollar sticker.

The candy store could get us some buckets for the car wash and do they have any small ones that could be used for donation jars ? Thinking we could talk to some of the businesses we know to put donation jars on the pos counters maybe ? ?

I'm thinking if we could do a car wash out that way and then maybe down here in horn lake/Southaven area. Maybe the advance auto parts or auto zone and maybe even out Chris's way. Might just make out with a good bit of donations.

I'll get busy working on a design, but I would like others to submit theirs as well. What about some simple die-cut wheelin for Warren stickers? Would you all be interested in spending a few bucks on a sticker for your rig/toolbox. I'm thinking we pick 2 maybe 3 'events' and put a good bit of effort to each. James and Daniel- please get with Jeff and see what he would like to see happen at his place. If he has any input on it. Ben-anything we can do at your work? I might have someone that could make us some stickers. Just need a,design in mind and I'll shoot it to her.
