I ordered the fittings and pump this morning. Also bought the tie down brackets for it. I know I could of easily made some but it was 30 bucks. So I said fuck it. I'm shooting to get it installed this week. I'm going to have to rig it up a little seeing as I totally forgot about needing a return line lol. My plan is to add a fast flow bulkhead to the bottom of the tank for the pickup and turn the current pickup into the return. That way the e2000 won't have any issues with starvation.

Got the stuff to do most of the work First things first. Old tank out Then mod the cell by adding a fast flow fuel bulkhead to the bottom. I used the biggest drill bit I had then a grinding stone on the dremel to widen to size. Next since this cell was for circle track and I made the new main feed. I cut the aluminum pickup tube off on the inside. Then I cut a hole in the bed for the new fitting. I'm going to turn it more driver since I figured out where to mount the pump. Here it is looking good. Only the return line is hooked up and the second hose is the vent. Which will not stay as is. The brackets to hold it are on way down the line back order. I may cancel and build my own.. Or do my classic ratchet strap method I also have to make or buy a bracket to hold the pump. For some reason I thought one would be included. Also could I just not wire the pump into my factory wiring? I have the stuff to wire it up to a switch with relay but figured I'd ask. I hate wiring to the core, so I've never really messed with it.

Yes, you can wire the pump into your factory harness. Looking good man.

Anything I need to do specifically? Or is it just crimp and go? Again, I'm at a total loss with wiring besides black to black and red to red Here's the factory harness end. I'll use the other connecting end as an extension. Black, orange and red.

The pump, if you look real close will probably have a + and - on it next to the terminals. Just use a meter to determine your + and - at the wiring side. Cut, splice, heat shrink and your good. When you first turn the key on, the + side gives a wierd voltage for prime. Worst case you hook it up backwards and it pumps backwards, then you switch them.

Seems easy enough. I did some looking around online and it seems with the extension attached it goes, orange is hot, purple is for the sender and black is ground. The pump does have the positive and negative marked. So good there as well. I should have this thing done tomorrow afternoon. Minus the straps
If anyone was wondering on fittings. Rci cell with -8 an fittings. 3 Fragola 90 degree -8 an female to -6 an hose barb. 1 summit racing fast flow -8 an bulkhead. Standard 3/8 fuel line hose.

Sounds like you got it figured out. Amazing how the price if those little fittings add up, right? I'm digging the mj, you take that thing places man. Can't wait to get my junk back together to hit some trails with you again.

Awesome progress!! A lot of folks forget to include the small technical stuff in their build threads.. But that's usually the thing that most people need!!
Ps. Don't skimp on the heat shrink. I know how you like mud and water.. 6 months exposed to that and you'll be chasing electrical issues!!

Can't wait to get my junk back together to hit some trails with you again. Shit no kidding. I checked out my options and went with the barbs. Still not cheap but depending on how you want to go it could get ridiculous. I just didn't care to spend the extra over something that just flat out works. I don't need any fuel cell bling

I thought about it and figured it needed to be done since I started the thread

Looks good man. And I've been using the ratchet strap method since I installed mine. I figure if it's strapped down and can't move it's good

Complete I had to bleed off air the first go round but after that he ran like a champ (Yes my jeep is a dude). The e2000 isn't as loud as a lot of people said it would be. Only issue so far is the hose barb fitting on the bottom has a super slow leak. Which sucks because I've now added gas... Plus side I gained so much room underneath!

Would a hose clamp work as a temporary fix?

i figured out the problem or so i think. Its that dot or pin or whatever it is on the side of the female end. Its never a lot of gas, just a mist around the fitting even down the bend a bit. Ive yet to see a spot on the ground but surely itll happen at some point. Im thinking I might swap the fitting with another one to see if they all do it.
