I've seen 6.0s make serious power. They just need love an money to perform right. Kinda like most women. Has anything been done to it? EGR delete, head gaskets, common stuff like that? GG

Bulletproof diesel products are awesome, not cheap but totally bad ass. I think it's all TIG welded stainless.

It's really a nice truck. Needs tires and some cosmetic stuff done to it which, as you all know, doesn't phase me at all.... It's already got the gooseneck hitch and wiring along with the electric brake controller. Of course with it being a Lariat he's loaded up with all the goodies, I wanted this because on those long hauls some creature comforts will be nice. The reason for the full cab vs extended cab is simple, the room. We'll have folks riding with us and I want them to be comfortable too. It's geared with 3.73's and you can tell it. I went from Tulsa to West Memphis and still had 1/4 tank left (that also may be from the 38 gal tank it has ) There's already aftermarket speakers in the doors so the stereo sounds very good, windows are already tinted, aluminum wheels from the factory, manual lockout hubs on the front, straight pipe on the exhaust, wiring for the block heater is already installed. So on the way home the truck did awesome. We held a steady 70-75 mph mostly on the cruise control. When we got close to W. Mphs I noticed the temp gauge was sitting on the "C"......which obviously worried me a little. And then it started running sluggish and acted like it was missing. So we pulled over and stood there and just looked at it because I'm no diesel mechanic and I'm already tense from having to drive this unknown beast all the way back from Tulsa. There was nothing hanging out of the block so we carried on and got it home. I fired up my google-foo and found some folks talking about the t-stat sticking open which, of course, won't let the engine reach it's proper operating temp. This morning I woke up and just went straight to the parts store and picked up a new t-stat (wasn't expecting it to be the entire housing with a stat built in). Sure enough when I pulled the radiator hose antifreeze went spewing everywhere, pulled it and it was stuck open damn near 1/4". I replaced it and pulled the EGR and cleaned it out. Truck ran like shit for about 10 min then cleared out and ran like a top all day. Not sure if I'll do the delete, read a bunch of stuff on line that there's pros and cons to that just like keeping the EGR and pulling it and cleaning it every few thousand miles. Anyway, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and with the price I got this truck for. Let's just say the days worth of driving far beats what I would've paid for this truck around here. For your viewing pleasure I took a couple of pics of what I dealt with this morning..... Nasty ass EGR Wide open t-stat

You have failed to mention the most important part.... Can Bobbie reach the pedals?? Well, I told my son today that I've got MY drivers seat adjusted exactly where I want it and if anyone moves it I'll beat their face off their face But to answer your question, it has adjustable pedals too.
