Any more pics? I enjoy the pictures of you exploring out there, looks like a blast. I love it out west, but have never had the chance to be out there with a rig. I must admit, it always makes me really appreciate all the trees and grass when I get back home though.

But we are taking a week vacation and doing another road trip starting next Friday to Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, Hollywood, Venice Beach, San diego and Sea World.. So I'll have plenty to post up then if you wanna see em..

So +I haven't took Bruiser out since April when I last posted pics.. Mainly cause we took a road trip vacation thru Cali. But I was still jonesin to get out on the open range.. So we went with a group today that started out as 10 and ended up with 40 rigs.. They were doing Red Rock Powerline Trail and Outlaw Trail in case you wanna research them. It's just south of Sedona so the views were nice! Come to find out a guy I ran with before was there so we buddied up. We didn't wanna do Outlaw since we had both ran it before.. It's mostly dirt road scenery. So we split off from the group after Powerline and ran Oak Creek Homestead. It gets it's name from an old homestead that was built right by Oak Creek in a canyon. Getting there was a lot more challenging and was in a canyon with water so cooler too.. Anyway.. Here are the pics for your amusement.. Started the morning with hot air balloons and sun rays thru the clouds.. Dropping down into Verde Valley

It wasn't too bad tho.. only stopped a few times for lunch and pee breaks so it was ok. The trail we did after the big run was just me and another guy.. I'm like you with the smaller groups.. Found the creek and had a swim with his kids. Beautiful area that's off the beaten path.. trail was so washed out it's impossible for even a stock rig to get thru. It was nice!

So as everyone knows we are Jeepless.. Getting debt free is easier with less bills.. So we've turned our attention to other less costly hobbies.. Hiking and backpacking. Last week we went to Zion Canyon at Zion National park in southern Utah. It's a 7 hour drive into a vast openness that doesn't even look real! Camped for 7 days and hiked for 5. One hike was the Virgin river narrows top down. 16 total miles with an overnight camping on the river. Our first overnight backpacking trip. To say it was awesome is an understatement.. More like phenomenal!! Another was the famous Angel's Landing. A strenuous5.5 Mile hike nearly straight up at times with 1000 foot drop offs on each side. One of the reasons I got into offroading is to be out in nature and enjoy the scenery. Well this is the same except you get to enjoy more since your only walking about a mile an hour in places no vehicles could ever get to.. lol Looking forward to doing more of these and later actually getting another TJ to venture out again on 4 wheels.. Until then enjoy the pics.. Horseshoe Bend on the way.. this is a famous spot for photographers.. always wanted to go see it in person and Lake Powell on the West side near Page AZ.

The highway leading into the canyon.. There's a 1 mile tunnel carved thru the mountains. This is where it came out at.
Big horn sheep..
Walter's Wiggles.. 21 switchbacks going straight up to the start of Angel's Landing..

From the top of Angel's Landing..
Wildlife was abundant!
Unbelievable trails... This was called Hidden Canyon.. steep drop offs.
And the tree were still turning, so that was nice..
Anyway.. I have a thousand pics but won't bore ya with them all.. You get the idea.
