You are lucky that there are places to ride in any direction from Phx.

Yep.. got another 4 to 5 hour trip East on the 6th I think I'll run.. Goes from low desert to a "rare sky island".. whatever that is..  I was worried when we moved rather we would even like being out here.. I have to say, so far we are loving it. Just wish I could move all of B2B out here!!  |

Looks like fun. Best think about wheeling out west is the trails are so long. Way more fun that short loop trails at parks.

Yep.. shortest one's around here are about 3 miles.. some are even over 30 miles.. I have yet took a trail and stopped to camp tho.. Might do that next and maybe take the dogs and Mel.. |

You'll cut the flares but you won't cut the ends off those......those..... I don't even know what to call it.
I've got some square tube and a welder, come back to W. TN and fix it! Lol

OK.. so after a long weekend of trail riding and hearing the tire rub the end caps on the front bumper.. I was "ordered" to cut them off when we get home.. So it's finally done..
I can't be with my B2B family while yall are out doing your thing.. But maybe I can add some offroading to the forum for your enjoyment..
Went camping at Sedona cause mama loooooves it out there.. looked up some trails in the book and took off..
Did Schnebly Hill that's right out side of town so the rock scenery is awesome.. long trail that goes to a vista.
went ahead and ran Broken Arrow again just for shits and giggles.. Got to play a little bit in the cracks in the rocks this time.. Awesome views..
Did Mingus Mountain.. Which Mel just loved cause it was very scenic and not crazy technical.. actually all of the trails we did was in 2wd except for one hard spot.. 19 miles and ends up circling back through Jerome which is an old mining town that has a Ghost town beside it.. went and checked it out. Mike you would have been there for weeks checking out all of the old relics they had!! LOL
Then ran Outlaw which had the Honanki Ruins that people made back in the 1300's. Very cool trail.
Then we went and did Devils Bridge Trail.. Very popular with the hikers since their is a .8 mile hiking trail that leads up the Devils Bridge.. We hiked it in flip flops and 2 dogs.. we didn't realize it was literally a rock climb at the end to get to it.. needless to say we all slept good that night.. lol
We camped at Deadhorse Campgrounds outside of Cottonwood. From our campsite you could see Jerome's lights twinkle on the side of the mountain at night. You could also see more stars than you could count along with the Milky Way belt.. it was very awesome..

Here is some vids I took with the Gopro... I'm taking the damn thing back.. I keep having issues with the wifi not connecting.. or the video just stopping on its own.. it's frustrating.

This is a boring vid of Mingus Mountain but shows the top of the mountain views some..
A nice run thru some pines and mud puddles.. This is why she loved this trail so much.
This one shows how narrow the trail was... No coming back from the edge if ya fall off..
Here is a nice high speed run to the ruins.. Damn suction cup came loose.. good thing I noticed or someone would have had a new Gopro.. lol
