Damn that's a lot of rigs! Way too many for a trail that one had room for one rig most of the time.. and it's a popular trail too so there was a lot of traffic trying to squeeze thru... Not to mention it's a 32 mile trail! Think I'll stick with the 10 or less groups from now on..

Not out group but kinda gives you a better idea of what the trail was like.. The great part about this is that it's an easy day trip from the house, as with most trails out here.

This is the only other one I got of him.. I'll see if he has a build thread but it looks pretty stock to me other than a lift and tires ..

I have thought that most of the trails around here are just easy backroads.. but even the ones that look easy have their hidden dangers.. This YJ was way top heavy when I first saw it I thought it was a good candidate for a flop.. sure enough.. During our run I noticed that the rain from a few days before had washed out some switchbacks to the point that if your tire got caught in one it's a good 100 ft. flop down the side of the mountain.. Case in point what happened to this guy.. night run and didn't see the washed out part of the trail.. flipped twice down the hill and got caught by a tree before flipping down the rest.. All of this was done on a trail I thought was not that bad or dangerous.. just goes to show how anything can happen at any time!

I'm not gonna lie... It's nice to be able to jump in a group on a whim, on any given wknd and go out for a day run... then come back home.. Caught up with a small group today doing a beginners run. A lot of running in washes and a few off camber spots.. but mostly just relaxing run. pics for the amused... We pretty much just made a loop around this mountain.. Guy brought this Jeepster.. man this thing is BA! And of course leave it to me to get high centered on a damn rock in the wash and have to get winched out... talk about feeling stupid!!
