Probably not any auto cross with it ............(yet)...........James. She'll be my DD so I can stop driving Cotton Candy around town. It's gonna be a fun little car and I'm excited about getting it. I blame this on Charlie, as he have me the bug for a car to tinker with and I've always wanted one of these in this body style.

Here's some pics of Lucy after several hours of cleaning. She sat for a while and really just needed some TLC. Jeff supplied me with some brand new rear shocks that he purchased for her, and a set of new-to-me rear tires. Got that stuff installed, got a new (junk yard) blower motor installed, replaced the hood latch assembly with the hood release cable/handle. In these pics she still has the white grill panel and hood, I found a silver one at Pull A Part so I snagged the grill panel off of it. I ordered a sheet of Carbon Fiber overlay (sticker) that will be put on the hood. The drivers door will eventually be replaced with hopefully a silver one....trying to avoid a bunch of paint work. Also replaced the aftermarket headlights with some OEM ones from the JY. All the power windows work, got the plastic clips replaced that hold them on track (Jeff supplied me with several and I had already ordered some before the car got here.

I'm very happy with the progress, she's gonna be a nice little car when the time comes. She's smoking a little but I'm hoping that's just the rings needing to reseat themselves from after sitting so long.

She's just what I needed for a every once in a while DD. I can't wait to see the hood with that Carbon Fiber on it!!!!

Here she is with the silver grill panel and OEM headlights. I'm looking for some corner lights, found them on eBay but I'm trying to find some local so I don't have to wait on them. Got all the sheet metal lined up and the engine compartment cleaned up. Man this is gonna be a fun little car.

Between the lowering springs and the width of the rear tires I need to roll the inner fender well lip on the rear quarters because they rub a little.
