I can offer up some welding if he needs it.. and wiring help.. but my schedule is pretty full here lately.. I actually like the design of the gull wing doors if it was safe enough.. would love to help finish it Yeah man. I'd donate some time working on it. I'd hope someone would do the same for me if I was in the situation. I can hold stuff while Charlie welds lol.... heck I could mark arrangements to pick it up if needed. I wouldn't wanna leave it at my house tho. I agree with Reuben tho.... Idk how I'd proceed. i just just wanna see the gullwing doors on a Rzr! Lol

Silver cage what he has done. The plastics were sent off to Louisiana to get plastidipped and the suspensions was powdercoated with the cage...grill was ordered from RZR Sharp Customs in Kentucky. LED lights are seward offroad I think.

Not sure. It was plastidipped and then a clear coat put over it so it would hold up better on the RZR.

It's a cool idea...I just wonder about the strength of it since the wings only tie in to the center hoop...I'm also assuming Genesis was done with the cage since he powdercoated it...

Yup, that is finished assembly. Clyde was asking how it was braced also saying the frames are very weak and rely on the cage to hold it together...If not done correct with a setup like that it will fold in half.....literally.
Cool concept though...I really wish it would have gotten finished so I could see the whole thing. Front and rear bumpers were supposed to have been tied into the cage and a 3 piece windshield was supposed to have been done that folded with the cage. Genesis also removed his snorkel system and was supposed to build it into the cage but that never got done either.

Wow! All the words I got. I would definitely brace off those doors. I would not wheel it much at all like that. Your life ain't worth the chance.

There is no structural integrity in that cage I asked Shane about it when I saw it and his answer was its not a rock bouncer so he won't flip it!? I really wish this guy the best and I hate he was treated poorly... At the moment we are not set up to do cages but I would be willing to bring it to our shop for final assembly if everyone wants to get together we can knock this out

I think it is safe to say to everyone that paying up front for services nowadays just doesn't pan out. Glad he got his rig back. I totally saw this turning out different. Like skillet saying "you cant have said rig until you give me 1800 bucks"
I dont pay for crap out of pocket up front. Been burned as well.

Scrap the cage. Kyle is right on about the zero structural integrity.
SOOO much wrong with that cage that I can't even start to type it all out on my phone! Seriously. That RZR will be twisted up in no time just riding the trails. Look at where the stock cage bungs are supposed to be...
RZR cages not only provide protection for the riders, they are also part of the chassis and keep it from bending, folding, and twisting. He's removed two (front and rear) of the most important points in the cage to build the gullwing doors
Not a bad idea, just very poorly executed.

Thanks guys. I've told Jimmy your offer but at this point he's done and just doesn't know what to do. He's planning on picking it up and taking it home and figuring out how he wants to continue.

Ok I think at one point or time most of us have been through something similar we wish him the best of luck and if there's anything we can do let us know

Update...
Jimmy just got his buggy picked up....In the end Genesis still didn't do right but tried. He got most of it put back together and refunded him some of his money. Jimmy will have to get the batteries wired up when he gets home, install the pistons for the doors, put his snorkels back on, get bumpers built, and install the underbody led lighting. It's at least on its own tires and rolling around now. Shane apologized for whatever that's worth...Jimmy has a huge heart and would do anything for anybody...he's forgiven Shane and is happy with what he has. He is planning on trying to get it finished when he gets home and still try to make mud nationals next week. Hopefully the cage holds together. I warned jimmy but Shane assured him it was fine...I guess we will see.
So after all is said and done jimmy got screwed but not as bad as first thought, he is happy...I on the other hand still hold a grudge.
