Y'all are making waaaay too much of this. Most overland vehicles do not have large lifts and huge tires. The area you are going is not that bad. Yes there are some stream crossings. Yes the water has the potential to be high. You sure best judgment and go around if you need to. The only one that should be of any major issues is the Buffalo River. And you can bypass around that. Perfect! We have a trail guide....lmao Many here know I would love to. Unfortunately I will be at the beach. And NO, no one can borrow my Jeep. . If someone is lost let me know. I will come help find ya when I get back.

All - me and a couple of my best buddies and our wives/girlfriends took off and did the southern half of the Overland trail in the Ozarks. ***** <- That's 5 stars Just damn beautiful. In fact I'd say we should make this thread not public so that we can help keep it a secret. My only recommendation is to wear shorts and shoes that dry quickly. You WILL become a kid again and jump in to a river. And we found this great spot (kinda like a peninsula) where a few rivers came together to camp. We fell asleep with a camp fire and the sounds of waterfalls and rushing water in the background... on a cloudless cool night. And as dusk fell we found the three maiden women bathing each other in the river singing a beautiful melody.. all sisters... wait, that's a different story
