Just to mention, I have an extra sealed unopened 2 gallon bucket of Lizard Skin SC(sound control) that's still sealed that I bought by accident. Long story... I'd being willing to sell it and the applicator gun at a good price just to keep it from ruining. I'll post up some pics later. Bucket runs $164 and the gun runs $80 plus shipping new. I think half price ($125) is fair. One 2 gallon bucket should cover an entire jeep or car floorboard.

Anyone know of a good place to find lathe(metal)? I'd like to find a good used one... around a 13"x40" I've been scouting craigslist, ebay, guess I need to watch some auctions.

Be careful about your voltage in one you buy online.

Be careful about your voltage in one you buy online. True dat, they come in tons of flavors... I imagine I'll have to get a phase converter, but we'll see.

Couldn't handle it any longer... Added a 1/8" rod to get the gap down to 3/16".
Tig'd it 4 dips at a time. Took a couple hours to weld it solid. I'll grind it smooth once I grind the gap even...

A little scrub scrub for the bumper brackets... Like everything else they had to be tweaked to fit flush. You'd be amazed how many people install them were they're not flush. You'd think it'd put a crease in the quarter if it wasn't... Mocked up. Welded... Smoothed out... I like it when it doesn't need bondo.

I priced a narrowing fixture for my housing, axles, bearings, housing ends, retaining clips. I can order a new housing with the ends for a couple hundred higher. Then I priced them adding a drain and fill plug and I was with in a $100 of a fab9...
My boat anchor came in for the grocery toter...
Overkill... yeah, no doubt... but I don't regret it. What can I say, I like big booty hoes...
I got a little anxiety, about it being the wrong width. I measured 20 times, but ultimately, it falls in the hands of the builder to account for the width with the brakes. So I mocked it up with the rear. I wanted a half inch between the tire and quarter lip. It's going to be 1/4" once I add the rotors. I can still grind half the lip and roll them some so I should be good to go. How low can you go???

I just couldn't stand the thought of the wiper motor being there any more. I made a plate to mount it in the cowl, so I have the option to stick in the fender if I decided to, if not, I can block it off.

A buddy of mine that's a Vintage Air dealer, brought a mock up box for their a/c unit to the shop. Good thing, the kit called for drilling my firewall. Now I can go ahead and weld in studs before painting...
The mock up unit is hollow, about 1lbs...
Inside side on the firewall.
studs on the cowl...
And there she sits.
