My cohort at the shop got a JD2 model 3 tubing bender, I ordered a bracket from Swagg to convert it to air over hydraulic and threw together a stand for it. Nice to have scrap metal laying around.... Looking forward to some cage work! I'll be out later to get a cage built for the Camaro and the Jeep! |

Maybe I can get the learning curve out of the way on my camaro and Rick's mustang. He's going to have a 8 second ride, so we got a lot of bars to bend. Mine will be easier, it's just roll bar... |

One of these days I'm going to do something productive... To cold to prime so I've be practicing my welding. Made but loads of attempts on making 1/16" aluminum cubes and they are horrible. I've developed a whole new array of curse words. Below is my first attempt on 1/8" aluminum. It's amazing how much easier it is to weld the 1/8" stock  |

One of these days I'm going to do something productive... To cold to prime so I've be practicing my welding. Made but loads of attempts on making 1/16" aluminum cubes and they are horrible. I've developed a whole new array of curse words. Below is my first attempt on 1/8" aluminum. It's amazing how much easier it is to weld the 1/8" stock That's one thing that I loved trying is tig wleding.. I made a box for Reuben's rig but when it was tested leaked like crazy.. lol Would love to learn that someday.. |

I'm getting a lot better in the perfect environment with it sitting on a table or a jig. But man, I got a lot of respect for those that can do it in all different contortions... Tons of eye hand coordination involved. |
