I'm sure it's in here some where but going to ask anyway. Do you steer with the motor like in a jet ski or have you put a rotor on the boat? it steers with the jet. I used a rack and pinion with a cable setup off of a Mastercraft boat, some miniature rod ends to connect the cable to the nozzle and the factory 1958 steering wheel.

So if motor stalls you have no steering. Might want to put a rotor on it just saying

But they make one that attaches to the jet on jet skis . Pretty sure would be easy to fab one up out of some kind of hard plastic sheet. I guess was just thinking safety .

Cool. I love the tn river just to far to drive for me for the day. Wish I could find some cabins to rent somewhere on the river for the weekend.

For what and where they are the price isn't to bad. I've stayed there several times and enjoyed it. The ramp is about 3 minutes from the front door and there is a marina on site. If you want to go on the cheap look into river heights hotel. It's right on highway 64. There is a decent restaurant down the road, and savannah is right across the bridge. There is a TWRA ramp right under the Tn River Bridge that's nice also. Greg G
