Arkansas gets a lot more snow and ice than we do also. If it is icy the trip to SL would be dangerous. well it is a "winter" run I am not sure how many times you have tried to drive across 40 in the ice, but I have done it a time or two and it would triple our drive time. I would not like to spend countless hours in my jeep in the cold.

My vote is for SMORR, however Hale Mountain ORV Park is about the same distance. Its on the TN/AL line north of Huntsville. Its small also, about half the size of Superlift and SMORR. Its 4 hrs from Olive Branch, 100 miles on the other side of HP.

So little traffic and so slow moving we literally stopped in the middle of 40 and was able to take a bathroom break.. Lol It's all what u make of it

I've made the drive from Memphis to Knoxville in a snow storm. Was barely snowing in Memphis and was around 6 inches on the interstate by the time I hit Knoxville. That 6 hour drive took about 9 hours though...

That 6 hour drive took about 9 hours though... I did the same in reverse. Got to Knoxville one weekend for a ball game. Got there wearing t-shirts, and a front came thru that night. Dropped about 8" of snow and left the game headed home and the sides of I-40 were littered with cars and trucks. Was about 8-9 hour drive back. Got clear about the Dickson exit by Cracker Barrel when we stopped to eat.

bump.......come on guys, let's get to thinking about this and make this and awesome run. I say let's keep it within a 4 hour radius of Memphis. Seems like more people are able to make it this was. Let's do what we can to make sure the most members can make it. If we are going to do a charity, we should start inviting other off road clubs early to make as much for the charity as we can. The earlier we set a date, the more people that will probably be able to make it...Just my

Agreed...if we need to put a poll to decide when and where then we should. Like Jeff said, the sooner it's set the sooner we get the word out which means possibly more money for whatever charity we decide upon as well.

You guys are more than welcome to start a thread/poll to get people to start voting. No one has to wait for a founder to start something like that. We (founders) are here to follow what the majority wants! The club decides on things like this, not the 5 of us. Make this club what you want it to be and we will support it. That's why B2B exists.

Ok so polls are up in regards to date and place...now the important part - the charity.
I've been trying to do research to see what all is out there. I know we want to try to stick to the smaller charities...which is where my block has happened.
Anyone got ideas on this?

We all have dogs right? Why not like Tails of Hope? Or Tunica Humane Society?
