This could be worth a look. I've heard it's sort of a small park as compared to some of the other ones we are used to, but still may be cool. I think XJinger knows the park, so maybe he can post up if this could be a good option.

I was told by tnjeep members that woolys is very small and that you can pretty much cover all the trails in 6hrs or so. Mainly a day trip place and not a weekend thing. You also have a park over in sparta tn called golden mountain i think.

Post up some links and mileage of said parks... Let's see what your talking about.. Also what do you peeps think about food? I thought the way we did it at RITS went fairly well.. You guys did your part to help the club and we gave out free food for that... We could come up with something like that again if the trailer is done by then.. (which it better be!)

If you want to go real basic, get a bunch of coat hangers and start a bonfire. Pass out hot dogs to whoever wants them and have a table set up for sides (chips or whatever). It should be cold enough to where everyone wants to be by the fire to stay warm. Get some paper plates and everything (that can) goes in the fire. You provide food and we cook our own. It's easy enough and cheap. This way people don't have to leave the trails early to cook for a bunch of people.

Prices are about the same except they charge for use of the pavilions.. Cheapest is $40 a day with no electric.. Looks like a great park tho!

I would think in January people would still be recovering financially from the holidays. Arkansas gets a lot more snow and ice than we do also. If it is icy the trip to SL would be dangerous. Charlie this is where you need to insert the video from lthe fire and ice jeep pull. Lmas. It is and can be dangerous but I lead a group up last New Years at night after the ice storm and we made it ok. The worse part was the fire truck tring to back into me on hwy 70. I vote sl just easier for us. Smorr to far for a weekend 2 day trip.
