If I'm gonna drive 4.5 hrs (roughly) to a park I'm going to SMORR. I would say either HP or SL for the winter run. But I'm partial to HP so......

If we are doing the eating outside a big bonfire would be nice so everyone won't be miserably cold. I would be happy to cook up a big batch of chili, and like someone said, some hotdogs and hangers for the fire, maybe some stuff to make some smores...  sounds like a good time to me, and a way to stay warm. |

If we do a bonfire I can bring enough pallets no one at the park would get cold!

I think this is an EXCELLENT idea. What better way to bring it "Back to Basics" than a bonfire, food, and friends. I say we do this.  We could actually do this as a "pot-luck" deal where we all bring something. Let's throw this around a little bit guys and gals..

Chili would be awesome and easy. So would chickeb and dumplins using biscuits. Use something like a turkey frier on low heat and let it cook all day. Come back its ready to go.

That weekend was so much damn fun. We've had a blast at the parks man, but this was the most fun we've had. Especially pulling big rigs, cars, and armored trucks out of ice and snow with the Ghoulie. |
