The Silver Bullet was my daily driver until I got Big Bird. 1983 long wheel based F100, AKA, the "lady killer"... Raw power is supplied by a massive carbureted 3.8 V6. Hands down the weakest vehicle I've ever driven and gets a whopping 10-12 mpg. It's also has the lowest miles of any vehicle I have, clocking in right at 49K miles. Nothing like jamming out to "Gansta's Paradise" on the original AM radio...
I've always hated these trucks, I like the previous body style and style afterwards. My mother in law gave me the truck so I'm stuck with it. I think it's a plot that Sweetness did to make sure I didn't sell it. Funny thing is I've grown to love this ole truck. I still hate carburetors and I can't stand the V6, I wish it was the straight 6 or 302 that came out in most of them... I foresee a a 5.3 LS engine in the future. It'd be nice to be able to use it as a tow rig. However, I'm still looking for that money tree Weezul mentioned.
