but not as bad as I had originally thought.... minispool blew apart and took out the carrier ad bearing and bearing race, but the R&P seem to be unscathed..

At least you broke the easy stuff to fix , Mack found a full spool pretty cheap at second hand power. I know its a different axle but it might be worth a call

It HAD a minis pool in it already so it prolly don't have clips anymore. Right? Most you dont have to do a c clip eliminator. Pretty much replaces spider gears like a lunchbox locker just doesnt give at all. Puts full force on the carrier.

looked into doing the 9" outers on the 8.8 then putting the eliminators on too get around the disc brakes and not spend 500$, but now I'm thinking I'll just put a mini spool back in a junkyard carrier and not wheel as hard till the 60's are built. Well not as hardish..lol
