This thread will be for trailer tech. Anything that has to do with trailers. I'll start it off by showing how I added a winch and toolbox to mine. Here is the HF 9000lb. winch that I added. Here are the "load" lights I put on it. and here is how I mounted the toolbox. The battery for the lights and winch is housed inside the toolbox. I also used Jeep tail lights on it so I could have reverse lights. Future plans include drive over fenders and heavier duty axles.

Mine is almost the same way.. your where I got the idea.. Installed the battery yesterday but still need to put a tie down in it.. Gotta set up the solar trickle charger and run the wires from the plug to the truck... Too much to do and not enough time!!!

I finally found the picture of a upgrade to my trailer I plan to do someday sooner than later.

just flip it upside down.. winch, snatch block, and a tree and you can pick it up.

Thinking about taking the 9500# winch I bought and using it on the trailer and putting the 4500# one on the back of Ghoulie.. You think that will be enough for the rear of the Jeep? It'll save me a lot of weight

I probably will take the wood off , It will make it easier and the woods not that hard to remove. Plus I want to rewire mine and install LED lights while it off. Maybe even a fresh coat of paint.

Is that spare carriers from a truck? I like that idea. My spare is laying on my trailer with a ratchet strap across it.
