I think the carrier break on the 30 is 3.55 and numerically lower and 3.73 and numerically higher. That said, I've got a Dana 30 carrier that had 4.10s on it (according to the guy that gave it to me) if you end up needing it. This is the carrier break... so you'll be good Mike |

Mack just bought a press and bearing puller that i can borrow, I have every thing else except a Dial with magnetic base and setup bearings I have the dial indicator and magnetic base you can use. I've got one too |

Well, my steering had a shit ton of slack in it (found this out a few months ago) so upon further investigation I found that whoever did the tie rod flip kit bushings forgot to weld them in place  so they got welded in place today. Then new fully tuned Cobra 29 is installed, the 37" MT/Rs got put on, rear diff cover is removed and I've gotta get the bolts for the new BTF cover to install it with, AND I put some tube steps on the LJ to use for "sliders" for now. did you get the BTF DIY kit for your cover? Just curious because I've heard people having trouble with them leaking so thought I'd tell you to go have the face machined smooth before you had a leak on the trail where you couldn't fix it...  |

I did get the DIY kit and it seemed to stay pretty flat. I hadnt put a flat edge on it yet but will before I put it on.

Mounted my Cobra 25 today, in a better spot that is...... I love my 29... only thing they should have done better is made the dials light up at night.. |

Determined I am going to be able to keep it!  Since I sold the 4-wheeler and some other odd and ends my situation has changed so I'm keeping and going to finish it. I'm excited and ready to move forward. |
