Guess I just forgot.. Go figure..

So from the last post I made I had to strip the old crappy primer back off.. The stripper took it down to metal except for the spots that had bondo and of course it took some of that off too.. So I had to re bondo parts and hope for the best..

the spots that I welded to cover the trim holes on the rear body line were a major PITA to get right.. Either had too much bondo or too little... or I started making up my own body lines.. After frustration with that I said F it and left it.. So of course it looks like shit..

Tell ya the truth I got sick of sanding, bonding, sanding, frustrating, sanding,, etc. So I got some good lacquer primer from the paint shop.. mixe it with lacquer thinner as directed and it went on like a champ!! Dried evenly and fast.,.. Sanding it was a breeze..

Yesterday I wet sanded the last coat and sprayed on the Plastidip.. The sides went on flawlessly.. the top, hood and trunk lid did not. It was hard as hell to get an even coat when your gun can't go horizontal...

So it is what it is and it's covered.. It's no trophy queen but never intended it to be.. It'll do fine for running around town..

Also swapped the carpet out..
