has anyone installed a Throttle Body Spacer on your 4.0 and if so how did it affect your engine. I've been looking at these. and by the way if you haven't ever found extreme terrain they have amazing prices on most everything. www.extremeterrain.com/airaid-poweraid-tj-yj-310510.html |

I will give up a reply. Give me the same amount of cash that thing costs. You will loose the same amount of money and save the time on installation. Also you will know the money went to a worthy cause.  |

Only one I've personally ever used was on our old 05 Tahoe. I installed that, a cold ari intake, and Magnaflow exhaust...picked up about 3.5 mpg, and noticed less downshifting on long hills. BUT, that Tahoe did have the weak ass 4.8 V8 Vortec, so ANYTHING I did to that motor was an improvement!!!

From someone that has used one before, all it did was make it whistle. A buddy had one and took it off and I put it on just to see if I had the same results he did. Took it off a month later and not sure where it ended up!

I got it and put it on my 2.5L it freaking sucked I lost all my low end and didn't gain anything on the upper end. I took it off very disappointed.

Never had one on a 4.0 but had them on some 5.7 and 5.0 chevy throttle body. Never could tell a difference. All the ones I had was on truck I bought and I took them off and sold them before I sold the trucks.
I never could tell a difference on or off.
the theory is to make a bigger plenum box. Yeah right aint going to do a damn thing on a stock motor.
Now you put a HVH super sucker on top of a victor jumior intake on a nice built small block. And holy cow they actually work !!!
