Is there either a way to add a harness and keep my factory seat belt or something to replace my factory belt with that is less than a full harness? My factory belt jams up and hangs me when I am offroad. Charlie and others have had to help me out of the damn thing a couple of times. I end up just riding without it, which I am not comfortable doing. I want something for offroad and would like to still have my factory belt for around town. Any suggestions?

Charlie still has factory seats in his Jeep and he has 4 point harnesses. You will need a harness bar which will obstruct getting in the back seat. Rock Hard has a bolt in harness bar that could be removed when not needed and they also make angled harness bars. An option you could do would be to put in a lap belt.

It not my seats I'm worried about, it's my seat belts. Could I do the bolt it for when I am offroad and just remove it when I am not and still have my factory seat belt?

Yes you could install a 4 point harness and use it only when you wanted to and just stick the belts under the seat when not using them. For the kind of wheeling you'll be doing I'd think you would be fine without a harness bar and just connect the 2 shoulder straps to the rear 2 seat mounts. I had mine like this for a month before I built a bar to support them. Ive got something similar to these. Cam lock harness
