That was my thought for going with a deep cycle battery. Should run a stereo all day on a ride with out charging.

Yeah, I have an amp on my ATV....with a winch and lights. I've not had any problems yet, just brainstorming on how to upgrade so I don't. I've been looking for an upgraded stator with little luck. I was just thinking a dual battery setup would give me all the juice I need for short times. Like I said though, not an issue right now...just looking around.
