Did you loctite the ring gear bolts in your 8.8? Gabe had 3 or 4 of his back all the way out. He got lucky and didn't tear anything up. Could be a reason it isn't moving if they all fell out...

The top 5 discs looked like that. I went back with all new steels and fibers and used the piece that rides on those discs from another a4ld I have. The metal on the housing was worn to.

Didn't you just build it in the last year or so? Are your clearances right? That's a lot of force on those teeth or not the right clutches or the hub is worn.

the hub may have already been bad... The one in it now looks new
