Ok, somebody needs to work on this, we need to have "official" rides a lot more frequent than other clubs. Heck we can have official lunch or dinner as well, the thing is,, this is the most important part of the club. Hell, a monthly ride would be awesome. A weekly dinner would work too. Anyway, just something to consider.

Some of us are broke sumbitches!  I would encourage anyone that wanst to get together for anything to start a thread.. depending on the location will determine who makes it.. Official club runs will be Summer and Winter to coincide with other runs during the year and not conflict... I think 2 a year for official runs is plenty. Of course there are always plenty of other runs thru the year that can be attended and will be by me..  The calendar will be updated regularly with runs that pop up all year.. SRRS will be a big one to attend I guarantee!! We are planning on doing quarterly club meetings when things get settled in.. but that's a few months I think... Dinners with members is a great idea and someone should start that up for sure... You guys run things around here.. all suggestions are considered but most actions have to be taken by you guys... I'm in!  |

We need to start utilizing Hawks Pride more! It's much closer and therefore a cheaper trip with gas/diesel prices being the way they are. Plus the park has come a long way and I see a lot of potential there.

My plan is to make a lot more HP runs this year.. even set up times to go by and help them out with building... They have really got a lot done since the last time I was there.. |

IMHO we should try and have "official" runs at a different park each time to sorta break it up a little we'd do more "exploring" and see something different each time. And Kevin it was brought up in the kick off meeting that we're going to have several different get togethers around town even if it's just hanging in the park cooking dogs and swatting mosquitos....lol

I'd consider Disney, Clayton, and coal creek still local enough for a weekend trip.

Golden mountain is a good place to go. It is in cookville.

IIRC it is about 4 hours away and all interstate which is nice. |
