I'm going to try to get the rear quarters cut and folded on my XJ this weekend. Here is a link to the job. If anyone wants to come over and watch, help, fold yours or just heckle and laugh. i plan to start around 1 pm at my house.

Secondly, after the spring run, I will be swapping out my NP242J TC for a 231J with a SYE and wide chain kit. This will entail a new driveshaft for the rear, either a Woody or one from the front of an XJ.
Thirdly, i will be selling my Rusty's Upper and RC lower Control Arms, Rusty's Crossmsmber with built in 1" TC drop and Rustys TC skid, as well as my RC 2.0 shocks and RC HD Tie Rod Set up. I'm going to start over on the front lift, keeping my 4.5" springs, but everything else in the front goes. Replacing the front stuff with the 3link Long Arm kit from Froehlich Suspension Tech and the HD steering with Heims... Here's a link for FST... froehlichsuspension.3dcartstores.com/3-Link-Upgrade-Cherokee-XJ_p_8.html
Shocks are yet to be determined, leaning toward Bilsteins or back to the RC 2.0
Thoughts???

Not torn--I would go ahead and cut the floo, tube it up and do outboard coilovers if the money wasn't an issue....HOWEVER..Even the regular Bilsteins are about 3-4 times the price of the RC2.0, its definitely the cost factor. I'v had good luck with they RC 2.0 so far-- and they are $32 each...I'm going to raise the mounts on the rear when I do the swap and probably raise the fronts up thru the fender.... I will have to do something, to quote David Bowie--that 3 link is gonna "flex like a whore"....Gotta have longer shocks!

Not dogging on RC but I have time and time again seen people replace them.. I had a pair to start with also and they were horrible.. I've had the Bilstein fronts for years and they still work like a champ thru all the abuse I have put them through... I had a aset of rears and the only thing that killed them was bouncing up Hotlz Hill with 2 men in the backseat.. split the rod in half. testimony! Sometimes it's true when they say you pay for what you get..

OME has great shocks too. I've got them on the Jeep and they are nice. Haven't been able to compare them to Bilstein but definitely better than RC that I had on there previously.
