It is pull and it makes a big difference especially if your having issues like the problem with heat soak.

I didn't post everything the was on my mind with the question. Is it as effective as the flexalite? 1. Less expensive than a flexalite 2. Moves more air than a flexalite unless you go with the race version which is big money 3. Damn near a direct bolt in for a TJ.. Looks stock. Anytime you wanna look at mine or a few others I've installed let me know.. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Not sure If i was looking at the race version but the only one I could find for a TJ was this one. link
(thanks quadratec you are good for something) Its shows an 18amp draw with 3300cfm. What year model taurus fan are you using? and do you have any specs on it?

Here ya go Brizz... this is your basic small electric fan from Azone.. doesn't pull air worth a damn! You can see the difference in size.. Plus the Taurus fan comes with a shroud.. The trick is that when you mount the Taurus fan you need to do it upside down.. with the wires on the bottom.. ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03055.jpg) First you'll need to remove your mech fan and shroud.. Keep the shroud.. you'll need to cut it up for the overflow bottle to mount back up into the slots.. ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03057.jpg) ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03058.jpg) ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03060.jpg) Your gonna cut the shroud like this.. ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03062.jpg) And it will mount back to the radiator with self tapping screws ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03063.jpg) Get a roll of metal strap with holes already in it and mount the fan o0n the driver side with self tappers.. ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03065.jpg) The Passenger side will fit with the original holes.. ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03066.jpg) From there you can run an adjustable thermostat.. Make sure you use at least a 20 amp relay in line with the thermostat.. otherwise it will burn up.. Ask Mike about that one.. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) The fan has 3 wires,.. one ground, one low speed and one high speed. You can tell by the gauge of the wires.. Make sure you use same or bigger gauge wire on each.. The low speed is just fine for the 4.0. I've been running mine on low since I put it in.. ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03072.jpg) When your done you will definitely notice a difference in air flow and you can do awesome tricks like this.. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/Jeep%20Buildup/DSC03070.jpg) Hope this helps.. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I'll second this! It is totally worth doing this upgrade, my TJ never gets above 210, whether I'm on the interstate or crawling in 4lo...It's an inexpensive upgrade, and pretty dang easy to do, especially if ya take it to Charlie's house....................just show up with some Mt Dew and your TJ, and he will do all the work, because he is incapable of just standin there! ![](//storage.proboards.com/3613987/images/BpaIyaAZycYl9y_eF_Sw.gif)
