James and I were planning to do some overland camping this summer- he has an XJ as well. Looking forward to learning more about it!

I have some routes from the Oachitas and the Kiamichi mountains. Some of the terrain is technical, but most is scenic. I have some pics on my FB page, and I'll try to put them up here too.
When would a trip be good for the group? Next month? Month after? Past May, it gets a bit warm, but we can see. I'm going on a trip April 19 with some water crossings, and I know the Spring Run is the week after.
Let's start a thread of an overland run, and I'll pull some routes out to see which works.

How deep are the water crossings you're referring to?

Check out some of the other vids on YT I don't know man.. I think I would have saved a gear oil change and just took the right side! I was thinking the same thing, they didn't have to get in that deep of water if they had just took a sharper left turn at the creek That looks like big fun tho

Hmmm...
The XJ sits fairly high, but it's not possible to tell how high in relation to the rigs in the video. Definitely need to get my gasket and seal work done before trying something like that.
