I have been thinking and wondering if it is possible to put a real frame under a zj. Just curious if anyone has ever heard of doing this .

Seems like it would make it really tall unless you planned to highly modify the "frame" on the unibody.

I helped a guy here put a frame "Stiffeners" on his XJ.. It's nothing but thick plates that are welded to the subframe. He did it cause he was running tons and a long arm setup and wanted it tough. I'm sure ZJ's are close to the same setup..

I agree with weezie. Seems like that project would be way more involved than the benefits would be worth.

Seems like it would make it really tall unless you planned to highly modify the "frame" on the unibody. It would depend on the size of a frame or how a cram is built. I need little more lift anyway. But didn't want to go over 4 to 6 inches.
