I want this to get out to my friends so you don't have the same issue as I am having. Rigid was bought recently by Truck Lites and this is where the story takes a turn and not for the better in customer service and product quality!
Well most of my friends know that I have always preached about how awesome Rigid's were and the fact that they had a no questions asked LIFETIME WARRANTY!! I have (2) Duallys on my KTM 990 ADV, (2) Dually Ds2s (3) Duallys and a 50" E series light bar on my Jeep, and (2) daully spots on my Duramax. If you had a light that malfunctioned, got water in it because you drove your Jeep across the Buffalo River whatever, you shipped it back they fixed it life was good. This is one of the main reasons I always bought them.
Well now since being bought out you have to have a picture of your receipt as well as an invoice # to prove that you were the original buyer and if you can't prove that you have to pay to get it repaired. I currently have (3) Dually spots and a 50" E series light bar that are in need of repair.
I just wanted to let y'all know so that you don't get screwed like I just did. I have spent over $2,500 on Rigid products for 2 rigs and a adventure bike. I am a little steamed that they don't give a crap anymore.
Happy Trails!

That's how it goes, someone makes a good product, makes a bunch of money, then sells off the company to someone that will make it cheaper. Same thing happened to Optima batteries. I won my Rigids from Clyde on Facebook, I guess I'm screwed if they fail.

That sux.. I'm guessing that Rigid didn't give their customer info to the new buyer, otherwise they could just look you up on a database..

Your not screwed, you just have to pay the cost to fix them. Which sucks but it can't be near as much as buying new ones.

It's not too terrible but for what it's gonna cost to fix them I could buy another set of knock offs. Whole reason I went with them was because of their awesome warranty. Buy it once kinda deal. Mainly principle over price.

That sucks. But seems like it's happening to several companies today. I have seen it happen time and time again. I will also say be careful with all lifetime warranties . Rough country screwed me on my front control arms. They just stopped making them along with the replacement bushings. When I called to get a replacement bushing was told I can't and would have to buy new control arm set. So lifetime warranties really are no longer lifetime. They are only life time for as long as a company wants them to be.
I will no longer buy from rough country for this reason and rigged my own homemade bushing until I can build my own long arm kit using hem joints. But a roll cage will come first.

Don't rough country short arms use stock bushings?

Don't rough country short arms use stock bushings? Not the ones on mine . Maybe the new ones do but stock will not fit and are made different.
