I put a plastic bag of clothes in the floor board and when I got to the lake it was melted to the floor.... I need some JK carpet.
I also need some 37's if anyone comes across a deal on some.

You need to check and see if you have a heat shield where the muffler is. Otherwise the new carpet will melt to the floor as well.. |

It gets extremely hot where that muffler is.. hot enough to melt your shoes.. ask me how I know..  I would definitely find a heat shield and istall it.. shouldn't be hard to find one at a JY and make it fit.. That lixard skin will also go under the carpet so you can have both..  |

Raceway in Savannah has several Jk's and JKU's and even a couple of JKUR's on the yard. I was there Monday looking around for some stuff. Prolly to far of a drive for ya but they prolly have it.

Not sure I ever want to go back to savannah but I might for jeep parts I found the carpet. I'll be getting a shield before I install it. |

Wish I'd known, I wouldn't have used all the Lizard Skin (heat control) all I have is the sound control... The ceramic version probably would have solved have solved it.

4wd.com has a pretty decent deal on KM2's right now. I'm about to pick up a set of 35's for mine.
