My airbag lights been coming on/off for about a month now (maybe longer)... Finally decided to do something about it. Picked up the Clock Spring from Daniel at Landers today. They had it in stock. Looking around online I never really found a write up on a 2012+ (which is only SLIGHTLY different than previous years. Tools Required: 10mm 13mm T20 torque (long and skinny) Phillips Screwdriver 1. Disconnect the battery (everything online says 5 mins) 2. Take the steering column cover off. 3 t20 screws from under the bottom. 3. Remove the airbag itself, This is the only thing I found different on a 2012+. There's 2 10mm bolts in the side of the steering wheel. 3 and 6 o'clock. Once the bolts are removed, unplug the airbag 4. Next is to remove the steering wheel. 13mm bolt. Notice the markings on the steering wheel, plus it's keyed so it SHOULD only go on one way. My steering wheel was removed with an extra set of hands and just pulling on it.... didn't use a puller. 5. After that just remove the clock spring. There's 3 T20 screws in it. One right up front and 2 from the top towards the back. With the Clock Spring off, remove the 2 phillips screws from the wiper stick and the turn signal stick... Mount the sticks on the new clock spring and start reassemble. **You will notice the new clock spring has a yellow tab keeping it in "true center" Do NOT remove this tab until the steering wheel is back on with the new clock spring. This is a very straight forward install... No way I'd pay a dealer $500+ to do something I did for less than $200 in parts and about an hour of my time in my driveway. Slightly Used Clock Spring for sale.... $20 lol

Yeah... We'll find out. By what I can tell using the steering wheel to get (aka short people) and water will cause it fail rather quickly.
