Final round of parts before fall crawl....I hope... High pressure cores for the air shocks and new brake hardware kit to fix the loose calipers

I've been slacking on this thread... Biggest deal lately is the beadlocks. Ordered a set of weld on rings from Total Metal Innovations. Got the inner rings welded in and smoothed today.

Ahh it's not so bad. It's the first rim that seems to take forever. The rest go by pretty fast after that. Make sure to use anti-seize!

Maybe a dumb question here but I'm going to ask anyway. With DIY Beadlocks like you have how do you check to make sure they don't leak without putting a tire on there and airing it up?

After I did a set I stood them up and put water in the lip and let it sit. Checked for water and rolled a little more. Found two leaks that way. Still had to dismount and re weld a pinhole on one a couple months later.

That's really the only way...mount it, torque all the bolts, seat the rear bead and cross your fingers!
Had to break one back down afterwards because it needed to be welded again. Luckily it was just one!

Or you you could do like an unidentified friend of mine did. Had some leaks in his welds and, went and bought a tube of vulcan
